WHO WE ARE
We are an Australian family business who have a passion for timber and coatings. Our vision at Glosswood is to create sustainable timber products that bring a quality prefinished sustainable timber lining board to the Australian home & design market. The timber range is a ready-to-install, eco-minded alternative to native hardwoods.

WHAT WE DO
Glosswood offer a range of prefinished timber lining boards for internal and external** applications. With a need in the market for a sustainable timber in a superior finish, Glosswood introduced prefinished Satin UV & Matte water based coated mouldings into the Australian market in the early 2000’s.

**Boards must be undercover & protected if used externally.

COATINGS
Glosswood developed Australia’s first no-VOC UV-cured coating system to produce the Satin range of lining board colours. To provide greater design options, an oil-based stain was introduced to create the Matte range. In recent years, Glosswood has launched into Acoustic Panels, to reduce noise in the interior with the beautiful aesthetics of natural timber. Glosswood are constantly improving the finishes, colours & profiles to bring an exciting range of timber options.

TIMBER
As a company, we have always been conscious of the environment, and spent years looking around the globe to find a suitable timber. Glosswood use Paulownia, a sustainably grown and harvested timber as it’s lightweight, dimensionally stable and has a beautiful grain. Paulownia is considered to be one of the fastest growing trees on the planet.
