About me:

It’s the quickest, cheapest and easiest way of building a wine cellar. A watertight cylindrical cellar, incorporating a spiral staircase and wine storage bins, is constructed from pre-cast concrete modules, built inside a hole that has been excavated under the building.

The cellar can be located practically anywhere, so long as the consulting engineer approves, from the convenience of the kitchen or dining room to the garage or basement, and its size options offer great flexibility whatever the customer’s collection.

It can keep up to 1,900 bottles in perfect storage conditions and since, like a traditional cellar, it relies on the surrounding earth for its insulation, plus an ingenious air-flow system, it requires no power to maintain its constant temperature.

Materials:

  • Pre-cast concrete module

  • Various Trap Door options: wooden, recessed to take floorboards or tiles, motorised glass and circular glass

Dimensions:

Original: 2.3m, five depths 2.0-3.0m

White: 2.5m diameter, five depths 2.0-3.0m

Trap Door: 1500x900mm
