Its characteristic grain swirl, treated with a chemical process and a heavy grey wash that is applied then lightly cut back, gives a finish reminiscent of perfect off-form concrete, but soft and liveable, in the Pale Grey. Cut back even further, the Driftwood shows more of the rich warmth of the natural timber.

Pale Grey

The popularity of these colours lead them to develop a broader range of sizes, meaning a broader range of price points. Now coming in not only 21mm but also available in 15 and 10mm thicknesses. Because Oak is such a slow growing and beautiful natural resource, by using a 6, 4 or 3mm top layer of French Oak instead of solid timber the valuable oak species that is used stretches three times further making it a very environmentally friendly choice. The engineered substrate is also made from fast growing plantation timbers and provides a solid and incredibly stable base for the board. The oak forests are selectively felled and allowed to regenerate naturally.
