What brings you to Salone del Mobile 2012?
The presentation of our new cooktop series on our very puristic booth at Eurocucina:
Two accessible cubes – one out of oak wood, the other out of raw steel – illustrate the transformation of precious raw material into masterpiece.
What are you most looking forward to at SDM 2012?
Talking to design colleagues from all over the world, being inspired by the city of Milan in April: spring time and design time – and of course showing our new project for the first time!
What has been your favorite product or project so far at SDM 2012?
Marble kitchen workbench study (lando), CEA shower faucet studies, wooden “clothes-peg-fork” (salone satellite)

At the moment: My Fermop Luxemburg low armchairs in “bleu turqoise” in combination with the Gaggenau mobile Outdoor Grill from the 70`s on my balcony….

Who is your design inspiration?
Not a specific person, but all the little things and details I recognize around me every day looking at the world with curious eyes.
What is your design philosophy?
Reduce everything to the essential, but do not remove poetry.
