Unless you’re new to the design space or have been living under a figurative rock for the past few years, you’ll know that Saturday Indesign (SID) is THE design event on everyone’s industry calendar. Dynamic, personalised and entirely unique, SID distils the best design knowledge and inspiration into 24 hours of activations that are spread out across a targeted event footprint.
On Saturday September 2nd, SID will be back and better than ever, transforming Melbourne into a design utopia for our attendees to explore. We’ll have 34 world class exhibitors across 26 locations in the CBD, Richmond and Collingwood, each connected by a network of hop-on hop-off buses courtesy of our transport partner Neolith. Across the day, there’ll be a carefully curated program of talks, exhibits, interactive installations and workshops, allowing you to pick and choose the events, showrooms and people you want to see in a choose your own adventure event that will reinvigorate your design practice.
If that’s not enough to tempt you, add in that the day is 100% FREE, with design talks, workshops, activations, transportation AND hospitality all included with your free registration.
If you’re still not convinced, or just want to learn a little more, read on and discover why Saturday Indesign is not to be missed.

4. Unique footprint and all the perks that go with it
What has long set Saturday Indesign apart is its unique footprint. We’ve left behind the cold stark environment of a trade hall for the welcoming and authentic experience of entering a brand’s home – their showroom. And just like all good hosts, our exhibitors have some exceptional hospitality planned to make you feel right at home and refuel you from all the talks, activations, workshops, tours and more you’ll be experiencing throughout the day.
Check out all the best hospitality pit stops on our What’s On page.
5. Make use of our free bus loop, thanks to Transport partner, Neolith
Not sure where to start? Saturday Indesign features several trails across the city, centred around our exhibitor showrooms. There are walkable maps and free buses thanks to our transport partner Neolith, so that you can hit up every spot and not miss a thing.
