Already offered in a plethora of colours (including red, pastel blue, panna, black and silver), these new colour additions see Smeg really covering all bases for the retro range, including iF International Design Award winners, the Stand Mixer and Toaster.
The appliances were originally designed in collaboration with Italy’s Matteo Bazzicalupo and Raffaella Mangiarotti of Deep Design Studio, and were released to pay homage to the Golden Age of 1950s design while still showcasing Smeg’s signature elegance and modern sophistication.
Even external to the striking colour schemes, the actual design of the devices shines. Take the kitchen mixer for example; setting new benchmarks in terms of power and versatility, the device feature high power motorised parts with unique flourishes that ensure the entirety of the bowl is mixed evenly. Or the powerful, multi-feature blender, which features three pre-set programmes, four speeds, a smooth start function and large 1.5L jug.
The audience favourite retro style kettle is feature rich and fitted with quiet-boil technology, cord-free swivel base and auto shut-off when the body is lifted from the base, while the toaster options include both two slice and four slice models with extra wide slots.
The entire range if available nationally in the existing colours, as well as all new pink and pastel green.
