The Tacchini stand at the Milan Fair was bold, colourful and reminiscent of a villa by Lake Como, providing a strong backdrop for the launch of their exciting array of new products. The Bianca, Isola Chairs and Ruler Table collections were the highlights, each piece a testament to Tacchini’s central philosophy, “give space to ideas and quality to space.”
The Bianca Chair, designed in 1939 by Franco Albini, a maestro of 20th Century Italian architecture and design, was originally intended as an addition to the furnishings of the prestigious Villa Monzino on Lake Como. Bianca, boasting a sleek wooden frame and soft foam upholstery, is available in a range of stains. Like the Bianca chair, the upholstered Isola lounge is suitable for both commercial and residential applications. Available with or without the writing tablet, the Isola has the option of a powdercoat or chrome base. An ideal accompaniment to both the Bianca and Isola is the Ruler Table collection. The solid timber leg features a geometric cut out with the table tops available in white Biancone or black Travertine marble.
The Bianca chair, Isola lounge and Ruler table collections will be available exclusively at Stylecraft from August.
